When Han Sen arrived in the living room, he saw Qin Xuan talking to a few people. There were men and women, and there were eight of them in total. Three of the women were old, and they looked to be in their seventies or eighties. Evolvers did not look old, though. They looked to be in their thirties.

There were old men, middle-aged men, and young men. The young man was standing closest to Qin Xuan, and he kept talking to her.
But the leader of the group was an old man with white hair. The old man looked very dignified and arrogant. When he looked at Han Sen, it was as if he was looking down on him.

When Han Sen heard the name Angel Gene, he understood why these people were so arrogant.

The Zhao family often referred to themselves as one of the four cornerstones of the Alliance. It sounded like they were loyal, but they were telling everyone in the Alliance that without Angel Gene, the humans of the Alliance would not be where they were today.
Han Sen had heard about the arrogance of the Zhao family. Many members of the Upper and Lower Councilors belonged to the Zhao family. They were even able to influence the election of the president. That was how powerful the Zhao family was. The people of the Zhao family and Angel Gene had the right to be arrogant.
Zhao Heng was one of the directors of the Zhao family, and he was one of the most powerful people in the Zhao family. The young man, Zhao Haiyang, was the chairman of Angel Gene. He was the grandson of the Zhao family's leader.
"Manli, pour some tea for Director Zhao and Young Master Zhao."
Han Sen believed the Zhao family had come for Little Angel, but he did not know why they had brought Qin Xuan with them.
But this was not surprising. After all, the Zhao family had many connections with the major forces in the Alliance. It was not surprising that Qin Xuan was with them.

"The election for the head of state is about to reach its final stage. The Ji family will not allow any accidents to happen. The Zhao family came to you for help because they know that the Ji family cannot reject them at this time.
If the Zhao family goes to Ji Ruozhen, Ji Ruozhen will have no choice but to agree. Even the Ji family has to compromise sometimes, "Qin Xuan said.
